almost there now. i got it started yesterday but had a retarded moment and forgot to plug in the oil pressure gauge line so had a fountain of oil coming from the filter housing  so the last hour of daylight was used cleaning that up

i have to say, a 16v with just the exhaust manifold on it sounds f**king awesome

Nice one, once it's all legal we'll have to go out for a B road blast!

i took the car into uni today to set the geometry and have a go at the corner weights

had a little surprise when i weighed it, without me it was 880kg! only had a 1/4 tank of fuel though and i think i had r888's on last time it was weighed. the corner weightings wasn't that successful though and i suspect the springs are knackered and all have different rates. something to add to the wish list!

Good news and bad news then. Those corner weights with you sat in it or empty?

Dumb-ass - your car's got LHD springs on it.  Change them over for a RHD set and that should fix it.

....or is it corner-weighted in anticipation of Chuff riding shotgun?
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.
