Red...you seem quite interested in these tyres...are you planning on investing some money on new tyres?? I wonder what tyres my R will come with  :huh:

....Only 17's to 20's, Nick.

The Goodyear Assymetrics also did equally well in the EVO mag tests and might fit 15's - I don't know.  :smiley:

OK, EDIT sorry they are fitted like the diagram. They are fitted like this guy posted over on TSN - the deep tread is on the inside of each wheel as below.



So either all our tyres are fitted wrong or the we cant make sense of that diagram! Odd, i look forward to the email from them

But It looks to me that this diagram and the black GTI photo and also this image from the Vredestein website, all match.

I'm waiting for an email from Vredestein's technical department - apparently they get lots of phone calls querying the tread application.

The photos are right. Otherwise they would have to make tyres for the RHS and LHS with different tread patterns. I had MICHELIN Primacy on my Mkiv and they were assymetric too. It did look strange at first with tread pattern running in opposite directions.

I once had some tyres fitted to and the fitters fitted one side with the "outside" face on the inside so that the treads matched  :shocked:
Went straight back and got them changed. "Sorry mate they looked right that way round".

I had Goodyear Eagle NCTs fitted to my MkII, what a sexy tread pattern they were. If a tread pattern can be sexy? ( I really must get out more  :embarassed:)

i guarantee you will go round roundabouts faster with these tyres fitted...

am sticking some on the csl first chance i get.
