just checked german VW page. Nothing of a sort. Vienna leather on sportsits in GTI costs 1800Euro.

Leather now std. on GT Sport and GTi  but NOT Ed30 which appears to retain Anthracite/Interlagos trim....

Soon the GT will replace the GTI ......theya re getting more alike day by day
GT now comes with FREE armrest aswell ......

I am very confussed, looks like the leather is still an option according to the link below.
