I emailed the hottuning guy, and he said he would take £180 for a set, and that wasnt haggling.

So you need to pull out a deal

it always comes down to them hit tunning ones !!!

grrrr must do exhaust first !! lol

We seem to be on the same boat, stuffed exhausts, but care more about the suspension!

You can buy the Hottuning coilovers from a place called Rennsport in stoke, thats where i got mine form.

There £195 or £215 posted.. Come with warrenty and all that shizzle and UK based, bout 25 cheaper than janspeed and no different.. TRUST me!

There are just a few points we would raise. The Hottunig units you mention we know of very well. You could say our experience of them is first hand. Bart is the guy who owns HT, very nice guy indeed. His prices are cheaper than the Janspeed price and I really would not have any thing publicly bad to say about another company’s product. But as repeated before ours are not the same units, I can not emphasise that enough Rich.

We believe our product will stand the test of time and that is again why we stand by our price structure. Our manufacturing partner who produces all of our range is not a wholesaler; they are spending their days developing suspension and like us have a good name to uphold, hence our confidence in our goods. I think we could debate this topic for days, however it’s a worth while point to say the service offered when purchasing such items is also a factor to consider.

If a member of your website would like to contact us privately we would be happy to discuss bulk buys. We are already doing so with the MK5 sector of this site both with exhausts and suspension.

We could supply the units for £200 all inclusive if 15 or more units were purchased.

We could also offer if purchased at the same time the following

MKIII 2.0i GTi 8V S/S System for £240.00
MKIII 2.0i GTi 8V S/S Back Box for £150.00

Tail pipe on the above is Twin 3" Round

Janspeed, as you're taking an active role in this topic, maybe I'll ask this question here too-

I have a similar amount to spend on suspension soon.
Will these kits offer improvements over standard GTi handling? More or less so to a similarly priced shock and spring set up?
I really want a set of coilovers but can't stretch to the higher end ones

Not too bothered about ride comfort cos I'm 'ard  :lipsrsealed:

This is for a mk2 GTi though.
Although I imagine the same applies to the mk3 too

Can you give me the lowdown please mate?
