My understanding from talking to Justin at the TTshop is that Riso (Mr OSIR) can custom make.

So OSIR will custom make a valance that fits onto an R32 spoiler to suit a standard GTI exhaust config?

As standard (not custom made), the GTI CF valance WONT fit onto the R32 spoiler?

....It's best you ask Justin at the TTshop 01234 853 225.

Here are some better pics to help understand the various rear valance parts. The stock R32 spoiler is clearly able to accommodate a bigger variety of exhaust trims than the other VW Mk5 spoilers.

And a pic to showing how well the R32 spoiler looks with the colour coded sides on a GTI/R32: - Note the LED tail lights

Cheers RR.

That CF bonnet would look the nuts on your car with the red CF centre and the outers painted red too.
I wonder how much they would charge for spraying mine?

....I did consider it but decided the red CF looks too 'brown' and also the red CF wouldn't look quite right with my black CF mask anf VW badge.

You do know that my vented bonnet is painted CF don't you?

Yes, I think it looks great too.

I went with the bonnet without the vent, don't know why, it just appealed to my sense of symmetry or something

Still thinking that I may get some more bits too :undecided:

When I spoke to Justin yesterday he seemed to think that the R32 spoiler wouldn't fit the GTI CF valance. Judging by the grey picture it seems that there is a way of doing it - and it looks great!

I'm just wondering how it works - as I don't want to go forking out for parts that are no use to me... and messing about the bodyshop / insurance claim.

Robin,

Is it possible to get the R32 valance so that the exhaust holes are in the position that they are on the GTI (on the left hand side) rather than in the centres?????

The R32 rear on that grey GTI looks stunning!

Is it also a straight swap with the GTI and R32 valances or is some modification needed???

....maxamus - Look carefully at the pic I posted and you can see that your question is answered - Can you see the standard twin exhausts on this R32 spoiler'd GTI?

And also, no modification is needed as far as I know. Mine will get fitted late Feb / early March when OSIR next deliver to the TTshop.

So a good choice for the standard twin setup is R32 spoiler and Ed30 exhaust trim - like the grey GTi on foreign plates.

ok ok so the r32 rear spoiler fits on the std gti.....confirmed

so can you get a carbon fiber insert for the r32 spoiler with only the one side cut out for exhausts, instead of both sides?

also do the red reflectors come on all r32 rear bumber spoilers because i think this looks abit gash!!
