Cool, but make me feel stupid...

I fianlly got round to putting a lights on warning system in my car today. Really quite easy to do, took like half an hour. It just makes me feel stupid, like an old man for always leaving my lights on!! Did any cars have these in them, or what? I know the mark 4 does, the mark 3 might?

mk3 & mk4 have them

i take it you just wired it up of the interior lihgt switch on the A-pillar

Yeah, one wire went to the bulb in my heated window switch, the other to the switch in the door. No cutting of wires, or soldering was required either!!

My Mk3 doesn't have a "lights on" warning, but my parents *cough* Astra *cough* does.
