I must say you dont here of many accidents happening in the daytime because "i didnt see the person in front of me"

To be fair my car is a big bright red object with a loud exhaust, if they miss that, then a few LEDs wont help lol.

On the other hand they do look realy cool!  but i think thats as far as it goes realy.  its just an excuse to drive about with ur fog lights on but without being laughed at

TBH, you can see the car fine, and if it gets dull, u turn on teh side lights, if you cant see the car, you shouldnt drive, or turn on ur lights, its something that they added to expensive cars, but cheap cars dont have them, as you DONT need them.

side lights aren't meant to be driven with (although everyone does)

and most people won't turn on and off their lights when it gets dull or when they are going through a poorly lit/shady bit of road as pictured above... drl's are on all the time that your car is running and that your main beam or side lights/parking lights aren't on

driving with lights on during daylight is mandatory in all scandanavian countries and I think poland and italy now

lets all be honest.. they are their to look cool and that is it.. or in some cases their to make u look a chav

the audi's look absolutly awesome and nobody can say they dont, just as the BMW's did when they first introduced the halo head lamps, now every chav has angel eye headlights

as said before...use your sidelights if visibility is reduced at all...

the only other good thing about them i guess is the fact they draw less power than your sidelights with them been LED..

then again, u may as well do the xenon upgrade like i have instead, uses less than half the power of your crappy halogen bulbs....

it comes down to a personal thing, i love the audi's....but i wouldnt bother retro fitting them instead of my fog lights as i prefere a OE look, just my personal taste

AMEN kells.

Well done dec.

And they are mandatory in stupid countries. lol. With sprawling moutains, forests, etc, not a bustilin country like england. If they were needed, all cars would have them.
