140mph clocks

on my 8v GTI the clocks go up to 140mph and the rev counter goes upto 7k I was thinking to get some white dials ... but they only sell 120mph and 7k designs ... why dont they do 140mph?  :undecided: :huh:

I had heard once that you can take the dials off, scan them in to your computer, and then edit them print them, and put the new ones in? Could be worth a try?

Its a sign not to mess with the 140mph clocks!!!

they go for a small fortune on ebay when the turn up on there!!!

Well i saw a set go for £67 on there the other day, they are unavailable new from vw and quite hard to pick a set up 2nd hand as most of them are 120mph

I wanted those, the seller agreed to sell to us for £50 buy it now, but then didn't bother to reply when we said yes we wanted them  :angry:

Gutted that they're unavailable from VW, was going to ask there next.

I have some 140 clocks if anybody wants them.

Only got 80k on them too.

My car doesnt have a dash, they are sitting in my shed!
