for me and my easily marked white E30 with black rims - this is the ONLY way to park. I park horrendously now.  :lipsrsealed: But I have had bad experience with doors slaming in and leaving marks.

i am going to start parking like this as some fooker opened his door into mine while i was parked up :cry: and has put a small dent in my door but lucky for me i know a dent guy

Sorry fellas but anyone who parks like that is asking for trouble. If a BMW where to double park they would be classed a tosser, yet it seems some people think it's ok if GTI owners do it.  It only takes some tw*t with a key to spoil your pride and joy.  Just my opinion.
