How long did you have to wait?

Hi,

I was wondering how long you guys had to wait for your car to arrive once you had placed the order?

I put my order in on the 11th of Dec and the latest from the dealer is that it will be here mid April :cry:. I am going mad waiting for my new car (not helped by having to drive down some great b roads on my daily commute).

From ordering day to driving it off the forecourt:

10 weeks and 2 days.

Not that I was counting or anything.. :grin:

The wait is an absolute killer but you just gotta put up with it. It's worth it.

ordered 22 august, collected  21 november. ed30 in red,i have just clocked 1000 miles and it still feels a bit tight, i am hoping it will loosen up soon!

Only 1000 miles since November!! I have had my ED30 for about 3 weeks and already done 1200 miles!!  :laugh:

Only 1000 miles since November!! I have had my ED30 for about 3 weeks and already done 1200 miles!!  :laugh:

weekend car only,renault van all week,and only nice dry weekends

Hey Grab...i put my order in for the R32 around the same time aswell but turns out in december the VW Factory is closed (not sure if this is 100% true) so the orders wouldnt have gone thru untill jan...i am expecting Mid March/Begining April...have you got a build date for your car yet?

I was originally told 12 and it grew and grew and grew!!

I ordered mid-Jan, I got a call last week telling me my car is due to be built mid-March and expected to my dealer early/mid April
