I used to have 205/40/17 with a drop of 40mm, but this caused slight rubbing under hard cornering, then I changed to the current "old skool" look with a set of 14x8 195/45/14 up front and 14x9 215/40/14 rear, but these stick out past the arch, and need to have stiffer suspension to prevent the back tyre clipping the arch. this had also dropped the car another 40mm due to the decrease in wheel radius. With the extra 50 mm I need to drop the front with the coilovers I have got a total drop of nearly 130mm from the original ride height.
I'll let you know next week how this all works with the new set up.
