i have brought all new plastic slips but its like some dont seem to wanna lock the other side of the door.on the drivers side there were no rubber grommets and the strips are on tight.are these grommets important?

Where did you buy these as I'm looking for a new set?

Thanks,

weird? usually they rattle about without the rubber grommet type thingy's. can only assume you may have different sized holes or different trim clips?
