I have the most boring job in the world!!! i'm the MD of PBC Motorsport ltd and i have to spend nealy every weekend driving around the Nurburgring! :grin: :grin: its a hard life i know.  :evil:

I think I'd have my golf even if I were a multimillionaire!

(Sure, I might have a couple more toys in the garage too, but the golf is 'ordinary' enough to park in town without employing a bodyguard for it, and special enough to feel like a million dollars when you're driving it)

I work as Environmental Manager for the 'world's largest sugar refinery'.

I guess I should be leading by example and driving a Prius, but I am of the opinion that the GTi is rather more fun  :grin:

And as my boss drives a Maserati GT Coupe, I hardly think that I am the worst offender in terms of exhaust emissions!   :laugh:

....On the Dust-to-Dust list the Pious is about 85th and the Jeep wrangler #1 !!

Dust-to-Dust takes into account the carbon usage from initial creation through every process of the car's manufacture and a factor of 100,000 miles usage and then the car's disposal back to dust. That's far more realistic than just measuring exhaust emissions and taxing people for it. I hate Pious owners with a vengeance!! :sick: :angry: :evil:

I wish I knew why there is so much ignorance about Dust-to-Dust - It's the reality.

i manage a website called www.4cheapcds.com i also work for a whole sale company who import CD's and sell to large companies such as amazon. oh and sell PS3's in my spare time  :tongue:

I run a specialist food distribution company in the North west - Innocent Smooties etc - gives me an excuse for some good drives up to the lakes and north yorks visiting customers. Also teach kick boxing in my spare time.

On the point of driving Golfs/Multimillionaires. A car dealer called William Loughran near to me whose perosonal collection includes 1950's Le Mans Jags, 250 SWB Ferrari etc. Whats his everyday car - 5doorMk5 Gti - he says it one of the best cars for the money hes driven according to my Pal whose just bought a 997 of him.

No such thing as "just a golf"
