Detroits
« on: 01 February 2008, 11:23 »
Hi Guys,

Looking into getting the Detroits (on white ED30). Wondering how resilient they are. Do they scratch easily? Buff up nicely?
Is buying them in the UK the best, or much cheaper in Europe?

Any advice appreciated.

Hi Robin,

Yes these are the ones. Funny though... all the blokes I know love them... and all the girls hate them.

I love them, however I’m warming to the Pescaras.

Cheers,
Hotrod.

Hotrod, the pescaras got a bad press when the first horrible shots came out (photoshopped). Even with real wheels on, the pictures online don't really do pescaras justice. The bolder simpler shape of the Monzas etc. looks better on the screen.

When I saw the pescaras in the flesh, it totally changed my mind.

I'm quite looking forward to the Pescaras.
Am I right in thinking, they're not silver, but a slightly darker grey? (Should look good against the silver of the car).
