my point was, if that was his inspiration, he's not going to achieve that look with a set of bulbs.

Yes, but the nice thing about speeding is that it goes away when you take your foot off the gas.

HIDs and 100W bulbs, much like german plates, do not.

Quite what pedestals have to do with it I have no idea.

i had these in my mk1 for a bit in my crystal head lights, they are cheap bulbs and the beam cast is poor and the light seems fuzzy if that makes scence?  :undecided: also gave a sh!t blue look to the lights when off so kind of looked chav, binned them and got some philips extreme (which i now use in the vr and the bora) bulbs which are the best bulbs i have ever used! (and i have been through loads of bulbs! lol)  :smiley:

oh might be worth getting a up-rated loom too as you have a mk2 with candle power looms!  :wink:

I havent had a problem with my lights though :huh: I know they arent as good as other cars but ive only driven mine at night. Theres only one country lane i really have to go down to get to my house aswell so its not the end of the world :evil:

Also having the 4 lights for main beam it makes everything ok anyways :tongue:
