Finally got my K&N Induction Kit!

Not many bits so shouldnt be that difficult to put together, some say its just for giving a sporty noise but am sure according to the K&N website it gives you more power?

Anyone with one notice an improvement in power?

depends were you place the filter, if it`s in the engine bay it will only take in hot air so no gains, if you locate it where it can take in cool air then it might improve a little, a panel filter would of been better

Well will try to keep it away from the engine so but of course it gets hot under their so it will end up getting hot air as well.

Heard different recommendations to be honest when I was asking here ages ago so settled with the induction kit.

In my case and proven by Rolling Road results a K&N cone filter gave an extra 3 bhp!

The cold air/warm air thing is debatable!

You cant move it for far as it has to be fixed to the strut that they give you, but you also get a cold air feed, so you can feed cold air up from the bottom grilles. Sounds nice over 3,000rpm which is always cool

Hi I see that there are 2 pipes that go into the current airbox when installing the induction kit i know that the main pipe coming from the engine goes into the cone but what about the other pipe?

Also there are 2 leads I assume breather pipes? Where do these go?

The back of the cone seats the breather hose for the ISV and also the inlet temp sensor. There is a vac hose that comes from the throttle body to the original airbox, that needs to be taken off and the nipple capped off at the throttle body end
