steering wheel splines
« on: 29 January 2008, 00:03 »
hi i'm looking to replace my steering wheel off my 1990 1.3 cl with a gti steering wheel. (i dont like the fact that you cant rest you thumbs at 9:15 on the standard wheel) however i've been searching the posts and i'm getting confsed with the big spline small spline business? would mine have big or small splines? Does anyone know the measurement of the big or small splines rough diameter and i could get out the ruler! or would it be easier to tell me if i could fit the pas gti steering wheel ( with the straight vertical sections i think its big spline?) or the other one with the rounded parts? oh and also would this style fit? when did all the splines change size?
