Post your real world dirty car pics!
« on: 28 January 2008, 17:24 »
It's all well and good having showroom photos, but it's the winter, and a hatchback has a job to do.

Here's ours in deepest mud-strewn Dorset, two mountain bikes in the back (yes they fit if you take the wheels off!) and a load of other luggage. Steamed up, splattered, doing the job it was bought to do...

A wash is imminent for my Ed30 - haven't washed it since I bought it in September  :embarassed: - but I'll take photos before and after

Yes! Well, not a 4x4. We wanted something to drive, not wash incessantly (or more accurately *be* washed by a gang of latvians at tescos), which is apparently what 4x4s are for round our way

(Clarification - When I said that you could get a couple of bikes in the back if you took the wheels off, I meant the wheels on the bike, not the car  )

Thats nothing!!!    At least yours is shiny and the water still forms beads on the paintwork.  Mines beyond that - a dull grey/brown colour with not a bead in sight when it rains - just a flat wet look.  :embarassed: :embarassed:
