i did run to the sun in 97 and 98 - makes me laugh - the AA must hate that weekend, having to tow all those broken down campers back from newquay  :D

haha.. in 96' we got took back by the AA :D

the car i was in got written off on a roundabout just south of exeter (it was an old honda btw..)

didnt feel or notice much as i was still smoking the green stuff  ;D

96 - stayed in a tent  - best year, was so wasted didnt know what was up.. hehe

97 (or 98?)  stayed in a static van.. year of the naked people.. was there with my bosses green bus (a bay) that had hydro's and a loud ass system, we had a party around the bus. and got invaded by nekky ppl.. was kinda cool  :)  van was quite far out tho

99 - stayed in a static  van, had a huge party coz we had 2 vans next to each other, and we took a sound system, lasers, lights and decks.. we got shut down by security :'(

its fallen off since then, lots of novas and pill 'eds

Your ghia is superb  ;D

Bernard newbury's green KG is still looking amazing, parked in the yesteryear display downstairs...  I wa into aircoooled from 89 to around 97, just before my daughter was born, and when i sold my 63' squareback..boo hoo..

Cant seem to get them out of my blood... My mate had a stand there (VW emporium ) and had his recently restored ( super smashing great) split screen camper on the camper stand, for sale at ?10k.. they are fetching incredible money at the moment  :D

Yes mate, I am.. thats the show I meant with the V8's V the old skool veedub racers..  cant wait  8) ;D  arghh  cant stop looking at your Ghia...

I dunno if you remeber an odd green coloured 60's KG which one best Ghia at Beetle bash circa 95 or 96 ?? It was featured in Volksworld. It was owned by an old mate, paul Nixon, and we had to push it up onto the stage to get the award as the engine seized on the way there !!  nice trip home with the AA ad no problems with traffic...come on !!!!!

i was thinking of selling my camper and 16v in the autumn and use the money towards a rallye, but after seeing those splitties, think i will just sell the camper and put that in a splittie fund and get one in the new year.  ;D
