it was at sandown racecourse in esher/ surrey - only gti's i saw was in the car park, bugs, campers and ghias galore tho!  :P

i went to Run To The Sun a few times, '96, '97 and '99 i think

its gotten worse over time, and the founder has now died too
Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...

My Dad used to be a mechanic on vw's, went on many a holiday in a camper when i was a kid!

i did run to the sun in 97 and 98 - makes me laugh - the AA must hate that weekend, having to tow all those broken down campers back from newquay  :D

I went to volksworld today as I only live about a mile from it and it was wicked, been every year since it started and its always good.

The best part of the show for me was the DJ in a orange split screen camper who had the crowds outside going.




Remember the VW roots. Go next year.
