They are the only ones I know of who supply a British Standards certificate so they are legal for road use. Widened steels are a bit of a grey area in legal terms.

go on wellerwheels.co.uk. they do some really wide ones. hvnt seen any on golfs tho, only polo's so dont know if they will look anygood.
