what is the size of the meshed area? just wondering if you could cut the mesh out and fit a cold air feed

I see they go on the intake, but do they have a filter in them? How do they fit? I can see the air sensor plugged in.

Thanks.

Dont get what you mean mate?

your buying the bumper vents, you can buy the hosing like eightyeight did and run it up to the airbox as a cold air feed, i now run the air temp sensor into my inlet to have a wee check on the inlet temps.. but some people drill holes in the vents, others mount the sensor behind then vent..

Ah, I get it. What sort of filter do you need for that? Like a filter that joins two tubes?

you mean an enclosed type air filter like a pipercross viper or bmc. you dont really need one like that to run the feed to it but it would work better because the cold air is being pulled from outside the engine bay..

The vents you buy just fit in the bumper, i have had 2 sets and i dont use a cold air feed or anything. Winter, its cold in that engine bay!

cold air feed pipe just runs to your filter, literally to it. One end can attach to the vent and the other end points at the air intake. You dont need to attach it as such to the filter.

Not sure how effective it is to have a cold air feed?
