hi to all!
 am scott from a small town in scotland just north of the border.
have been readin this forum for a while for tips/advice and decided i would join in the fun!

i have owned my mk2 gti 8valve for 2 years in feb (the insurance was eye watering when i was 18!) and loved every minute of it.
wasnt a great buy as i have had loads and loads of problems with mines but hoping to put these behind me with a recon engine which was recently purchased.

am not a ned (chav for those down south lol) and like to keep ma vee-dub lookin standard, mods so far are- crystal clear headlights+fogs and G60 steelies (which look the business might i add lol), it has a debadged grill which i think am getting rid of in favour of the quad gti grill. engine wise nothing major apart from the recon one!

get ready to hear from me alot as i seem to be the unluckest person with cars, always break down on me for some reason so everyone i need your wisdom!!!!!!!!

just wondering but has anyone tried getting a meet together with just this forum, maybe cause we r spread across GB that would be kinda hard!
am willing to drive tho!  :cool:

interesting though! would take a lot of organising etc in advance! but if it did come along...I'd be willing to drive to meet :)

leighj team up with me and we could get all the scottish boys driving down south, imagine an army of vee-dubs going down the m6!  :laugh:
