Where is everyone?!

Although being relatively new to VW ownership, i still haven't seen a single MK1 anywhere - and I do a lot of miles!

Where on earth is everyone? They can't be as rare as this!

There's a fair few about in Essex, southend way but if like me.... most of em are garaged and probably wont come out till April.  Where have you been looking???

red, silver, lhasa green and helious blue tin tops (that i know of)

I spotted a red mk1 gti (tin top) this morning on the way to work (near clavering, essex) and got a wave as we passed in opposite directions, anyone on here?
