Rosie....
Need to see some picture of your new arse, that's if you've had it done yet !!!!!!
Also what springs did you have fitted and was it only springs or did you have shocks fitted as well...
As for you tints. I had mine done at 30%, but with the original windows having a tint as well it does put them over the legal limit...
Just don't go drawing attention to yourself.... ie. Taking your car to the near limit... Yes I did read you post before you deleted it.

Martin - did you do your VW badge yourself or did you get it from somewhere?

Also I'm quite shocked at how mingin everyone's tailpipes are - there's only toph's which look anything decent. bit of meguires metal polish and some elbow grease should sort that one out

TeddyKGB.... Hi, did the VW badges myself a couple of weeks ago. The front looks 10 x better than the rear IMO. But it's done now.

Cheeky!! Right well there are some pics of my "arse" floating about on this sight, but since you asked so nicly here they are again...

Obv it isnt finished yet, will look a million times better when it is.

*blonde moment* i have no idea what springs are fitted, i went to a supposed coachworks and said i wanted it lowered and it was done. I didnt do it properly, i know, dont shout.

In terms of the tints, i have just got the car back from having them re done, they are 30% everywhere apart from the front, they are a shade lighter.  went down to the forth rail bridge tonight at sunset to get some nice pics done of them but my bloody camera batteries died! Gutted, not to worry, will get some soon and post them.

I do try not to draw attention to myself you know, but for some reason i always attract it. But i have to say in my 2 years of driving i have never been pulled my the cops, not even once!! so there!  :smug:

Noooooooooooooo... Seen them ones, wanted to see some with it filled and two 4" pipes sticking out of it !!!!!!!!
As for your springs doesn't your invoice say what they are ????
And your tints look darker than mine (mine are 30%)

Have you had your tyres checked yet ???... Read Davefishes thread over from R32OC, he had 19" / ET45 wheels on.

Hope this helps....

I thought that! Well i havnt got it finished yet . Its doing my head in coz people keep commenting on it and i am fully aware of how it looks, but other things happen in life!! It will be done asap though.

Well, and again dont shout, but i was made to pay cash in hand for the tints and springs. So no invoice, no trail. Anyway, i know now that it was because they were doing such a rubbish job. But you learn by your mistakes.  :embarassed:

The tints are deffinatly 30%, it could be the crappy scottish weather making them look darker :undecided:? Il get some good ones done in the sun if it ever comes out here again.

As I seem to be posting just about everywhere else today  thought i'd formally introduce my new ED30!

The wheels seem to have divided opinion with friends colleagues, but I only wanted the car if I could have them!! After having a standard GTI with 18' Monza's it was these or nowt!!

Let me know what you guys 'in the know' think.........

Cheers
