Its what happens when you decide to see what all this detailingworld.co.uk talk is all about

Honestly I've tried so many combinations I'm not sure what my favourite is.  The pics above are with dodo lime prime, and dodo blue velvet wax.  Although if i'm honest, pinnacle sovereign wax applies more nicely and gives a slightly better finish so will be my combo for the summer (with maybe megs no7 showcar glaze in between).  I've spent hundreds of pounds on trying all this stuff and I'm now sure, if you are willing to apply wax/sealent once a month, Meguires NXT tech wax gives a finish right up there with all the best stuff i've tried.

I machine polished it 18 months ago with menzerna polishes (hence no swirls) and since then have just been looking after it.

Thanks for the comments

Yep its really hard work mate.  The other half has a silver cooper which is so easy to keep clean and make shiny.  Not a swirl in sight.  Black shows everything but as you see in the pics, can be very rewarding (for a few mins lol)  It has a few swirls here and there and could do with a clay- problem is, i'm sure the clay will marr it and i will have to polish it again.  I enjoy waxes, glazes etc but machine polishing was exhausting and i dont fancy it again any time soon :embarassed:

YEH clayed mine the other day and it left loads of marring (sonus grey), glad i managed to give it a polish today as the marks were doing my head in
