i do like your wheels, i am a  Big fan of the Monza II's , and lots of other peeps have changed to some other after market BBS ones which dont look as good imo. They must of cost a bomb!. Did you change from monza 18's or did you have the 17's before?

Yeah they were 18's, however i was lead to belive that they were 17's and it was only when i measured them when trying to sell them that i realised!I like the monza's, dont get me wrong, but they are quite common, and i wanted bigger! Bigger is better and all that.

I paid £1050 for the alloys and dunlops. Apparently thats not too bad a price, what do you think?

 :embarassed: they are replicas....... :embarassed:

What kinda tyres would you go for? I'm not really up on my tyre knowlage.......

Indeed, what you do with size is always impotant, but having the size to begin with is a bit of a shove in the right direction

Ive always had Bridgestones but alot of people go for Michelin Pilots. My passat which is leaving me on monday, has dunlops on and the handling in the wet is very bad compared to other manufactures.Michelin seem to have the best all round reputation from people on here.

Yep just bought the car from Mark_Eire and he had previously removed those horrid surrounds....they are in the boot now and on their way to the nearest tip...unless of course anyone wants them...

Drives like a dream, only issue i have is that it needs a service and the cruise control doesn't work, however I am sure it will be fixed under warranty.

Appreciate that the purests on this site will probably insist on the Monzas.....however, I rather like the r32 type wheels...its even better in the flesh...each to their own i guess.
