Think they only did them in that colour for 1 year, is it an early car, 54 plate or there abouts

No, the colour Blue Graphite has and still is always available! Its a fairly popular colour here in Ireland, maybe not so much in UK. My car is a '07. It was Laser blue they discontinued a couple of yrs ago.
