New "BBS" wheels on my car
« on: 21 January 2008, 13:50 »
Right, second time lucky..............

Heres the story: i baught some BBS LM's of one of my friend for £1000 19"

i then relised that tyers would be sh!t load of money and they were...... £600 for 4 tyers 35/19. soooooo i wacked them on ebay and they went for £2010!!! (lucky me ) so me being a good friend i gave my mate £200 back and then didnt feel quite as guilty  so i then went down to my local "tuning" shop and found some BBS RS-GT alloys (replicas) for £540 (not too bad) so i got them, then found some 225 40 18 eagle f1 for £370 new, fitted and wheels balanced (oh and some chrome valve's and caps.)

so let me know what you all think, and yes i know the red centers look cr@p and some black CF ones are on there way.

oh and goodyears are amazing!!!! ive had contis and piolet PS2 but these are amazing espacially for the price!!!!

I'm not convinced personally, i think maybe they seem a little small?  :undecided:

Like you say though, the red caps definitely aren't helping.

So i did this:

Sorry, still not convinced

I like em, I think they look a little small at first but after a few looks they look spot on.

Im gonna be honest Joe. I dont like them....
They look better with the black caps... But I think to pull it off you may nee to drop the car a bit...

I noticed your camera made the cars paintwork seem a bit dull so chances are they prob look shinier and awesome on the car in real life.

So I cant say much

yea the camera is only 3.2mp phone camera, so not the best quality. the car is getting eibach pro street kit in march but is about 20mm lower than standard at the moment.

With the springs and a really nice camera taking the pics I reckon it would look spot on.

In my own personal opinion, I've yet to see anything that looks better than the 18" Monza's.
