Very very nice....have you get the ceramic brakes on the RS4...and aswell you live in london with so many cars...must be loaded

Thanks Manu, it doesn't have the ceramics although for track work that would be nice.  They are quite a rarely specced option as you can imagine at around £4k!!  For regular road use, the standard brakes are more than adequate.  I believe TT has the ceramics on his RS4.

Not loaded though compared to some people near where I live.  My weakness is resisting the temptation of buying a car I like  :embarassed:.

I like the RS4 and M400. Very nice.

Mind you neither are as fast as my Golf

Thanks TagnuT.  Very nice Ed30 you have there .  I think you're right, in central London, your Ed30 would paste the M400 which crashes and jumps over the potholes hopelessly.  The golf really is an all-round weapon.

Aww thanks (If you didn't know I was only joking.......) Shame that you have these great sports cars in central London..... Here in the wilds of Yorkshire and the Peak District we can let them run free

I'm still here thanks   Just been very busy.  My wife has got me to sort the mess I created in the house while she was away studying Arabic in Jordan for 5 months.  I have been coming in quickly and reading the comments though.  I just can't keep up with the likes if Hurdy though!  I think he averages 600 posts a day or something like that - I reckon he's got a whole cohort of people working for him, posting night and day

Ooooooooops   :embarassed:   I had left my account logged in last night and my wife left the message to embaress me!  I was going to edit it but forgot all about it.  I'm not leaving the forum but I find myself having less and less time to post because I have been so busy over the past month.  I am probably going to Duabi for a job but have already looked at Mk5 GTI's over there - £13000 for a FULLY LOADED 8 month old example with 1700 miles on the clock.  I've heard brand new R32's cost £16000!!!   Its VW heaven over there.  My Ed30 is going into storage after a service this week.  I'm still wondering whether to get a Mk5 over there or be sensible and buy a 2001 Mk4 V6 4-Motion for £3000 . I'll probably get a Mk4 first and then upgrade to a Mk5 after 2-3 months when I know I'll be staying for a while.
