widetracking using mk3 gti bits?
« on: 20 January 2008, 20:01 »
Ive been doing some searching but cant seem to find many answers so can anyone help me?

I have just broke a mk3 gti 8v and a j plate.

Im planning to use the complete rear beam, does this just bolt straight on to the mk2?

When i broke the mk3 i just unbolted the subframe and dropped the whole lot including the engine and box in one peice. so my idea here is to just bolt the whole lot straight in to my mk3, except the head which im going to fit my pb head

I what to keep the mk3 powersteering system and alternator. i will also be keeping the mk3 5 stud setup

Is there any issues with what i have planned? how much wider will the track be?

Craig
