Fogs

Do mk4 GTI's come with Fog lights???

I've always assumed their built into those fancy headlights... but I saw a part the other day that put fogs into ya lower grill ...

Whats the deal? ... weird how a modern day car doesnt come with fogs (if they dont)

yeah black, mk4 gti,gt tdi, v5, v6 4 motion and r32 all have fogs built into the main headlight (i think these look pretty cool on with yas side lights in sted of dip beam!!), but hella do a conversion, for the two outer grill slots in the lower section of the bumper, i think there ok on most models but hte tdi/ turbo gti may cause intercooler probs as not enough air will be cooling your charged pressure, ???? as intercooler behind drivers side vent on bumper, have seen em sprayed up (colour coded) and they do look good , i assume they hook up to the feed from your orig fogs via a relay, i think they look good and give the lower bumper of the mk4 a bit of 'life' as it looks very dull!!!, bit pricey though!! about ?160 arent they??

?160 aint bad, considering its the full unit and not just a cover (like the smoked indicators are on the mk3).

Yeah I have to admit the lower bumper area on the mk4 looks bland...and thats why i love the front end of the mk5 ... it has all the style of the mk4 with angrier headlights and an "alive" bumper with properly positioned fogs... (I think the mk3 fogs are too high up .. but thats my opinion)

Yeah thats right on the Hella items, can pick up on e-bay for usually around 80 quid.  But cannot be used on any of the Turbo models (diesel and Petrol) due to lack of cooling, but if you have a front mounted intercooler then you can plumb them in easier enough, but i would'nt be bothered as i can drive around with my foglights on all day and never get pulled by th pigs.
