Is there any way to turn the warning off without having to fill the washers?

I found myself on a 200 mile journey and after about 50 miles the warning came on.
It was a reasonable day - so I didnt really need washer fluid... so I didnt want to stop.
After about 20 miles I had to pull over and fill them with Volvic - just cause the flashing yellow thing on my highline was annoying me so much!!!!

Ideally there would be something I could do to disable it until I either fill it - or at least switch the engine off.  Its very distracting!

Hugely annoying! I dont need telling my washer fluid is low every 4 seconds!!! Only way I know is to fill it up

If you know someone with VAG-COM, they can turn it off permanently for you (1 minute job) in the 'Instruments Module', or you can negotiate it into your next service at the dealer (in advance - else they'll try to charge you £40).  But there is no way of cancelling the warning once it's come on.

Its a great idea - but it would be good if it just warned me when it was low once and then went away... then every time I start the car again to remind me!

This constant flashing gets on my tits!  It just means I have to make sure I fill it frequently!

I wouldnt really want it disabled completely... although it might be the only fix!
Winter will soon be passed - then I'll manage to go for about 8 months without using a squirt!!!

Is it just me, or does everyone elses xenon washers come on the first time you squoosh your windows if its cold and dark?!
In summer it was every 6th time I pulled my washers.  Now it seems to be the first time I do it on every journey.
No wonder it goes down quick!!
