no miles

since i got my 8 valver it hasnt recorded how many miles ive driven. anyone know how i can fix it?

Is the speedo working? If not check cable connections from gearbox to dash, if thats good sounds like clocks have slipped a cog, have a look it might just need a quick fiddle, if no can do try a different set of clocks, beware of how many plugs your clocks have on the rear to ensure you get the right one to try, not much else to go on really.

This happened to me, you can try and fix it but you have to take the speedo out of the instrument cluster, not tooooo difficult. It could be a red gear that can slip, just add a little super glue to stop it rotating but once you open it up you should be able to see the problem.

In the end though it didn't completely fix mine and I had to get a second hand unit  :cry:
