You'll get annoyed, you'll pay the bill (or just fix it yourself) but a couple of days later when it's a nice evening and you're opening it up in third out of a long corner and it's growling like a b!tch you'll forget all about it.

You obviously don't shop in the right places then.

Parts are a piece of piss to come across.

^^^ I concur. Still got that front bumper you sold me Simpson, amongst a million other things. :smiley:
Mk2' s sure are an emotional rollercoaster sometimes, but you should definately get one. :wink:

i had a 1992 mk3 gti 8v, what a sluggish piece of sh!t.(before this i had an integra type r )my mk2 isnt any faster but so much more fun to drive than a mk3, love the  noise,love having no heating love its character love it!!!

id pick up a highish milage 8v, you can get these for a good price, alot less than the more 'desirable' 16v then put in an abf and you have the best of both worlds.

all depends if you have the time to do such a conversion.and youll learn alot on the way
