no just fitted one its very very quiet! its a divertor valve not a dump valve so its quiet get the recirc one if you want the noise!

No, the diverter valve is the recirculating one!  If you want noise, you need an 'atmospheric' dump valve.

im only saying what forge says on thier website, the FMDVSPLTR  recirculates and allows for the sound does it not, the oo7 is a divertor only for recirculation. sorry if im wrong but thats what i was told when buying it, any other atmospheric dumps valves without a splitter will apparently screw with the ecu due to the golfs setup?

really so what causes it to blow off? the extra air fom the air feed? im really interested in this stuff but am still learning. My 007 is really quiet...would  a uprated panel filter effect the sound do you think. Apologies if ive stated any incorrect information  :undecided:

it doesnt have an airbox holding the sound back, its hard to explain, its not a whoosh as such more a whistle like a blow off valve, like the flutter sound you get when you put a filter on it, the sound of the 007p is heard instead

ya if you av a cone filter it allows the sound to escape tho the cone filter. but if you keep the box on it traps the sound in n you cant hear no noise.
