Gti t or A3 t?

Hi, i have still not got my gti t. Cant find a good one near me.
I have started to look at the A3 t. Both the cars have the same engine i have been told.
What do you all think about the A3 t?
I am only thinking about this car now, because there are more A3 closer to me than the gti t. I like both cars and i know that this is a Gti forum, but i have not had a car now for 3 months. I miss is driving.

Should i just wait for a Gti t to come along.

A3's come with AUM lumps as standard, better turbo's (KO3s)

If im honest, I prefer mk4's to a3's. Even the inside of the a3 isnt as good, the dash is all plastic where the mk4 has that leathery look and the red dials on the a3 are no way as pimp as the blue on the mk4's

 actually if the A3 done up as a S3 then it will look pretty cool ..... and the A3 handles better than a mk4's on a standard form ....

I dunno man, I prefer the golf tbh!

I prefer the r32 front to the s3 front too.

old shape s3 looks dated now imo, mk4 is the more desirable car if you get a well specced one

if you want a golf buy a golf, cause youll never be happy till you have, have had a couple of mk4 gti's and for me its hard to compare against a a3 1.8t as thats what im running now.... a3 dosnt look as nice as a mk4 , but driving wise its alot firmer and more responsive (why i dont know as there both the same floor pan and running gear etc) , interior isnt bad and after a while you get bored of blue/red vw gauges so all red makes a change, nowt wrong with an a3 but if you wanna buy a golf dont get anything else... ive travelled both ends of the contry to get the right car at the right price before... its worth the effort

I think even the A3 started with a lowly AGU!!! 

I love the A3's.  I think my next motor will be the 3.2 quattro.

yup mines a agu 150 bhp turbo...they changed the engines around the same times the golf ones changed to aum's etc
