Just fitted 18" RS4 Alloys!
« on: 17 January 2008, 00:36 »
Hi, not had a post in a while but ive just fitted 18" RS4 alloys to my Mk4 GTI 1.8T, not seen any other golfs around with these on and they look awsome! As soon as i fitted them and had a drive i could feel the diffrence between the original 16's!

But now ive started moding i have a list as long as my arm of stuff i would like to do! First things first a rear spoiler! Any idea whats the best one to go for? Skirts, same question? Then to power, remap, exhaust ect. but they wil come later!

But main question, my service is due, my mate who works for VW is going to do it private for me, so i thought i would get better parts than they would use in the garage. So i want to know what would be the best pannel filter, spark plugs ect to use? any ideas!

Cheers!

By the way how do i upload photos on here?? Sorry about all the questions!

i'd really like to see the wheels on your car! as for exhausts ive heard miltek is the way to go, and im sure there are a few threads regarding remapping about saying that the best way is the tried and tested way ie custom code jabba revo....

im not sure about spoilers not my thang tbh but give Awesome Gti a go they might have something your looking for

Spoiler IMO this one: http://www.vwspeed.co.uk/volkswagen/vw-parts/Anniversary_R32_Roof_Spoiler-15-21.html

Best filter IMO the Pipercross Panel Filter : http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/vw%20golfmk4/engine.html  Dont get one like KN that is oil based it will f*** up you maf sensor.

I would get a geniune oil filter from vw as thay tend to be cheaper believe it or not!!
As for the plugs go to halfords you can get NGK (which is what vw use)
for about £18, same number on as the vw plugs but half the money.
