I bought this GTi second hand of a M8 of mine who, luckly for me, unluky for him, could not afford to keep the car. It was registered in Feb 06 and I got the car in October of last year. He ordered it with the 18" wheels, arm rest, R**500 Sat Nav......oh and No DSG! I have just purchased a Phatnoise player (yet to be fitted) and when I do fir it I will give you all the full SP on this new toy!. I also think it has the Highline but as per a different thread I hope to fully understand this option better soon.

If any one is interested, I had one of the Original GTi golfs back in 1980 (17 yrs old) and then in 1982 I had a mental breakdown and purchased an XR3i! WTF changed it 6 months later for a GTi Mk2, the one with the Pirelli Rims! I then went down the Pug 205GTi road having firstly the 205CTi and then the 1.9GTi which was very quick in it's day. But all in all I must say that the Present Mrs GTi is by far the best car I have driven in a long while....The F355  F360  and Aston DB9  (Old School friend of mine who now lives in the Florida) and TVR  (Old Boss) were all better but I still think this is one of the best cars on the road today

Lol.

Manu its the same for me. Looked at the thread so many times and now posting.

Lovely car. The best ever. Why? Cos we got one exactly like that except with the Xenons. Its a lovely colour and makes the car look chunky and classy.

In the flesh the colour is amazing, nice and deep and shiny. I like

e-bay 40 quid, but no DMS! I am now in a position where I need one and I can not find one anywhere! I did see some full VW systems on e-bay for 100 quid (sory no quid sign on my PC).
