Hella twin lamp lenses...

Hope mine never break, just about to fit em to my new vr and i think they'd be my fav visual mod .

the Vr Looks good, id get one myself but do far too many miles to run one of those hahaha, and my GTI is totally rust free, so it looks like ill be going down the engine conversion route soon as i can, looks like it will be a 1.8T..

Ahhhh if you have a turbo mk3, can i just like, stare and stroke it?? ESP in black.

Have you tried a good motor factors? Would have thought somebody would stock the glass. I hope so for myself!

deffo something im looking to do, just inbetween fitting the collies as i type, then the car is having all its parking dents removed this Saturday so it will be looking good..next is a set of wheels i think, then im gonna look more into the engine conversion i think, wanna keep the car looking as OE as possible tho


and back on topic, the Glass must be avaliable somewhere, its would be daft if it wasnt, wouldnt like to have to buy another set of twinheadlights just for the lenses

Ha thats quite funny, mine was cracked when i got the my motor and now with bad weather the car looks like its got cataracts!
Was just going to post the same topic.. if you can only buy a pair i dont mind going halves?

also is there just one type of twin headlight? i think mine are mourette???

2 types - Morrette and Hella.

The ones on the red mk 3 are Hella type, or copies etc, but the hella lenses are whats needed for those

Well, I got in touch with Hella, and they were pretty helpful, gave me the part number, checked to see that Germany still had some, and then told me the price- £107 for ONE lamp!!!!!!!!

Bollocks to that....

do you have the part number??? and was it for the smoked lenses??  just out of interest could be usefull to hang onto..

Yeah, the part number ( its the O/S outer lamp) is 1k2006147-041 and yes, they are the smoked lenses...

You can call Hella on 01295 272233, but they don't sell direct, you have to buy from an agent, but they tell you where your local one is...

Hey there, im in the process of changing my lights. The surrounds on my twin head lamps are brockn slightly but the lights them selves are sweet. I dont know what brand they are tho. They look very similar to the Morrettes.
