Ok then, heres my first update for ya'

I bought the car back in the summer and had a problem with the way it was running, it was stalling and cutting out, especially in the wet. Really bugged me so i spent hours searching online and tried 2 things, first was to change the relays (ecu and fuel) and that didnt work, so i took the hit and bought the crank position sensor. An hour later and a pair of grubby hands, the car was fixed.

Then i convinced my missus that the car needed new suspension as my old ones were shot.. so i spoke to hottuning in germany who sent me out these quality badboys.

So that was the start of it.

I then got shipped out to afganistan for my sins, and while there bought a few bits and bobs such as..

My show cage...

and on my way home from oxford i noticed that my exhaust is hitting my rear beam from lowering it so i have now got..

So im hoping to get that sitting high enough that i can get around the god damn midbox which is the bain of my life.

Finally, was talking to one of the lads and he said hes got a charger for sale, he said 100 quid its mine, so i came home with...

Wham so there it is for now, i have to make up some drawings for my uncle who will fab up the manifolds for the charger and the mounting brackets and then its on with the old megasquirt which i am currently trying to source.

Ok, Today i managed to get a few more jobs done, i trial fitted the cage, after replacing most of my trim that i sprayed yday.

The headlining was a bit awkward to fit initally on my own but i got there in the end

I need to drill the car tomorrow and fit the cage properly

Theres the suede headlining and black trim

from the left

From the right

another from the rear

Then i got about removing the old door strikers and replacing them with some new ones

to

Digging through my parts bin, i managed to dig out my old sparco pedals i had on my corsa back in the day, so i whacked them on.

Then i got around to spraying my grill satin black and whacking it on

Put her away for th night then

Thats it for today, ill try and get the rest of the trim in tomorrow and then look at cleaning the engine bay i think
