right whats the plot with classic insurance, how old does the car have to be before it qualifies, and is there an age restriction on how old the driver has to be???

Pre 1973 or at least 15 years old...... You have to be over 25, i think, for most companies.

I was quoted on a mk1 golf gti on a classic policy!! (£125 fully comp!)

problem is the car is only just 14 years old, i think i will give you guys a call anyway cos its an audi coupe that im trying to get a quote on but im at college right now so will do it later

Yeah because essentially your saying your insuring a classic car you will ove and cherish, not a boy racer in a brand new saxo on finance. Therefore your less likely to hoon about and bounce OAPs off your bonnet.
