just all remember its all the car not just colour,manual or dsg, halogen or xenons,its a VW GTI!!!!!!

Hi Chris, yeah definitely agree! All the colour stuff is just a bit of friendly joshing around. It's not like I'd be turning the other way if a non-white gti came along. (For a start, I don't think I'll ever drive past another white one - seeing another GTI on the road is rare enough even now...)
The only thing I'd hope is that the people who prefer white don't talk themselves out of it as the 'sensible' option, because
(a), let's face it, a dirty car is a dirty car and black and grey owners won't be any happier with a mud splattered gti
(b), unlike a white vauxhall chevette, a white GTI has loads of showroom appeal and should be a doddle to part exchange in 2 or 3 years, and as an added bonus, its body won't consist mainly of filler by that age... You don't tend to see many old Chevettes. Why is that?
