This has got to be the worst "Bad Luck" story ever. You should change the Subject from ANGRY ANGRY ANGRY to FUMING FUMING FUMING

T880MM - I cannot believe this.

If I were you, I'd ask for a discount now. After all, what they're giving you is a vehicle with an accident history. Doesn't that affect the value a little?

They should certainly refund the money to you in the meantime. There's no reason for them to earn interest while they faff about fixing the damage they caused.

What an absolute bummer.

I just really dont know what to do about the whole situation, Ive been driving around in the car the whole day and dont get me wrong its awesome but I cant stop thinking about the body damage, they said if I am not happy with the repair tomorrow they will look at some other options, personally I dont know what they mean by that?? I am well into my detailing and if the paint finish on the repair is not absolutely perfect it will just really niggle me  What a predicament im in

I personally would reject the car or ask for a BIG discount and that the job is carried out by an authorised reairer. Either way I would want my money back until I am satisfied one way or the other.

Oh, and shame on you for thinking a woman driver would think about a little thing like a wall. :lipsrsealed:

I think rejecting the car would be going a little to far for the damage done, I think I will be asking for some discount on the car and the repair to be carried out by a good bodyshop

Really sorry to hear about your bad luck.

If I were you I would push for a big discount as it is now tarnished goods.  If you are paying big money then you are well within your rights to get what you are paying for not some patched up motor.

I wouldn't want a chipsaway repair pal, and Im not sure I'd want the VW bodyshop doing it either I've had some bad experiences with them. I would be tempted to reject the car although this might seem a bit extreme, I know you have been waiting a while and couldn't wait to get your hands on it, but in my mind if it was mine it would already feel soiled. If you do decide to keep the car, think you will , make sure they make it worth while, free service package?, and don't take no for an answer. I'll come and have a row for u if u like

REJECT THE CAR end of story. Get them to order the same one at a cheaper price but don't just accept it!!!!

I had a similar issue when I picked mine up. The first one I was going to buy (2nd hand) had a gear problem and then the 2nd one had an issue with the bearing on the brake.........not a huge issue but when you buy a new car either brand spanking new or a couple of months old.........they should treat you like royalty and the car should be in good order..................

If you take that car, I think it could ruin the whole experience but if you get another one I think maybe it will become a distant memory

Just my thoughts but it brings back how poor customer service can be.............there's no excuse for crashing a new car or for not filling it up before you came there.........

But that's women driver's!!!!
