maybe lookin into turbo upgrades......

if i wanted a K04, what else do i need 2 do 2 get it rite?

Will always love my mk4 but she had to go...225 Quattro TT in its place....but its still black (she lives on in spirit!)

yeh so my mate recomended garret's "Disco Biscuit" Roller bearing turbo???? lol!

but what im saying is, do i have 2 change anything else, i.e intercooler, injectors, manifold etc...... ??????????

a guy who i was meant to be buying one off, said its just bolts straight on.......... hmmmmmmm???

HELP!!! im confused! maybe ill pick a garret up cheap from autosport international this weekend!! :grin: :grin:

  think u need to change the downpipe,injectors,oil&coolant pipe etc ... and u need to map it too ...

yeah .... unless u get all the parts dirt cheap otherwise jus upgrade the turbo to hybrid turbo ..... i would of thought if u fit a hybrid turbo and get a miltek downpipe with sport cat and turbo back box ,induction kit ,forge DV .silicone TIP , FMIC and remap u will see 260bhp+

mk3 golf 1.8t ,280mm front brakes rear disc conversion,coillies.

  apparently IHI turbo is very laggy only kick in around 4500rpm ...... not worth bothering . APR stage 3+ is good i heard ,it retain stock driveability and pull like a train ....
