Evening all'
« on: 09 January 2008, 22:54 »
Hi Guys
Names Marc and I own a Mk3 golf gti.
Currently got it lowered on some naff suspension, tt alloys and miltek zorst.

Am planning on the following mods and have the following questions for all the VAG gurus out there.

S3/TT engine conversion plus standalone engine management, uprated clutch and gearbox.
Eibach coilovers
Brake upgrade - poss Tarox or AP.
New alloys
New interior (plus possbile dash conversion)

Questions...

Anyone recommend VW tuning companies in the South West. Am local to Dialynx and they arent taking any projects on till August. Any others out there?
Seen a few vr6 interiors on pistonheads and ebay for sale and obviously this is the easiest option to go with as its a straight swap. Does anyone know if the TT front seats would fit? Or what modifications would be needed for the runners??

Final question and I'm not sure if i'll do this yet but will the tt dash also fit? Has anyone done this before? Post any pictures? Is it a timeconsuming effort best left to the pros?

Am attending Ultimate Dubs this year with my mate Matt who is a director for www.vagparts.com He owns the diesel TT which runs on bio fuel and I believe we'll be on the House of Kolor stand this year...maybe see some of you guys there....

Cheers

Marc

Morning
Thanks for the warm welcome. Just a small sleeper! lol

www.diallynx.co.uk is just on the outside of Swindon. Has a big reputation for some big Audi quattro projects. Another project being 'The Bullet'...a 500bhp powered TT!!

Just gonna browse for any local meets etc...

So they only work on Audi's? Will they look at a Mk3 Golf?
Any idea how long their workload is?

THey quoted me 1k to swap my engine over in a mk3. They will pretty much take on most vw/audi work.
Ref workload...not taking any new projects on till aug 2008...but if ur wanting something small i guess they might take a look at it...only way to find out is to call and ask !
