Sounds like a non starter to me man,i dig scrapyard runs but can you really be arsed to fill in a report everytime you go? ps,the scrappy at mildenhall is crawling with gtis, last time me and tobz were there they had two 16vs.

I think it would be a good idea spent many a Saturday morning trawling scrappers when they say on the phone yeah we have a mk2 in and it turns out to be a mk3 :)

Probably got lost in the "Great Crash of 08

I think a list of scrapyards in the area would be good and also whether or not they are any good. I had so much hassle trying to find scrappies around Oxford when i first moved here, and only recently have i found a half decent one that isn't run by a pikey.

Maybe a stickied topic in the garage or the good guys section where you can just put the details of the scrappy?

There are loads of scrap yards around my way that do vw but after the last 10 months of phoning around I have narrowed it down to two places, they are top notch. The first one is better for mk4 bits if im honest, but the second guy is good for mk2's and mk3's!

V Dubs Ltd
Unit 8, Gasoline Alley, London Rd, Wrotham, Sevenoaks, Kent TN15 7RR
Tel: 01732 780111

The V.W Yard
1, Caldy Rd, Belvedere, Kent DA17 6JT
Tel: 020 8311 5131
(Ask for Neil, say Ash sent ya!)
Will always love my mk4 but she had to go...225 Quattro TT in its place....but its still black (she lives on in spirit!)

Hi mate
Where abouts in Mildenhall are these scrap yards...I normally head up there 2 or 3 times a month...

The one in mildenhall is down beck row, round the back near the pikey area!!!
Watch out for the guy who runs it though (scarface) he's a complete @rse.

You got any pics of your dad's split ?
