The main thing I loved about the new s3 was one of the material types you could have for the seats, it had little squares in the material, il try find a pic!
Will always love my mk4 but she had to go...225 Quattro TT in its place....but its still black (she lives on in spirit!)

MB went down in my books a long time ago!!! My dad's 99 plate CLK has more rust on it than the titanic... everytime it has been in for repair it has caused us problems.

I wouldnt even go there... even if you gave me one free, i would p/x it against is similarily priced BMW

Says it all really !

Yeah but the M3's price is dropping by the day cos of the new model.

1 series
3 series good car if you go for a 330D or an M3 but u may as well have a mondeo if you choose any other model
5 series M5 only as the engine makes up for it looking
6 series    worst looking BMW EVER imo
7 series stupidly big grim looking barge
X3 Pointless
X5 c*ckmobile
Z4 look  unless you get the M

I'd have to disagree with the 6 series - i guess its a love/hate thing but i think its very nice looking, plus bm do some crazy good diesel engines which can be very nippy. i can't stand the shed load of 3.18/ 320 drivers i see coasting around everyday with a smug look on their face - YOUR IN A BOTTOM OF THE RANGE CAR! why are you so happy with yourself!!!

...anyway :lipsrsealed:

i looked at the s3 but i just couldn't find nearly enough that justified the additional cost.

Why all the BMW hating.. I have almost definately decided my next car is going to be the 335i coupe... hate to say it but the Golf is simply not comparable to the 3 series BMW (335i that is).

Thats like comparing am Audi R8 with a Lambo LP640. Different markets and different targets.
The 335i is bound to be a better car because it costs £15k+ more
