Which Shocks with Eibach?
« on: 06 January 2008, 16:43 »
Ive got a mk4 golf but nobody in the mk4 section can help me.

I have just got some Eibach pro springs and dont know which shocks to get to go with them??

Im thinking Koni FSD or Eibach pro dampers. My question is do any of you mk5 guys have eibach springs, is so what shocks do you have or which would you recommend?
Any help at all would be very much apprichated.

I've used both pal, the FSD's give a softer ride and handle well all round, the Eibach give a more sporty/focused ride but not to harsh, I'd recommend them both its down to personal taste

Koni recommend you use Eibach pro street with the fsd kit.Bought these myself and they adv a drop off -30 but thats optimistic maybe -10.
but they are good.
If you can get a copy of this months VW driver they have just fitted them to their MK4 golf.
