leaks in boot with pic!

ok so i have had this on every mark two golf i have owned, where is it coming in? you can see where it is rusting slightly between the rear drivers side seam right in the corner next to the light, you can see it coms in right in the bottom corner of quarter seal i have tried sealing with seam sealer from the outside to no avail.
any help wuld be appreciated. Thanks

Do you have a rear wiper on your car as the washer tube's are known for splitting where it goes to the tailgate and it is on the drivers side. May of split and everytime you wash your rear screen water is running down the inside of the car. I would pull out the rubber gromet and inspect the pipe other than that the rear lights are prone to leaking on the seal.

cheers il have a look im sure its jst when it rains though and it comes through where you can see that rust forming through the rear quarter seal..

Have you checked the gutter channels, the exit is near there, inside the wing though.
